This is an item I have been searching for a long time - not only are examples difficult to find, but even more rare with all the parts intact.
A Victorian rustic thorn vase with hanging baskets, it is made from very pale green glass with faint white stripes, & has an applied footed base.
The vase measures 23.2 cm tall, 4.4 cm across the peaked top rim, 15 cm wide across the applied arms, & 10 cm across the footed base.
The baskets measure 13 cm tall, 5.5 cm across the top rim, & 3.5 cm across the footed base. This was sold as being English (purchased on eBay AU) but similar items are pictured in a reprinted Kralik catalogue.
How has this delicate beauty remained intact?!!
I know, it's quite amazing! The seller did a great job of packing it, thankfully, with all the parts in their own separate boxes within a larger one.
Amazing!
