This Jar, released sometime in the 50's, is a great example of how creative the designers were at the McCoy plant. Simply adorned with a silver star (also found with gold star) makes this a great jar to use for those homemade Christmas sugar cookies! This is one of the most popular jars McCoy made. However, even though it was a production piece, it is relatively scarce, commanding upwards of $1,000 in great condition. It is marked McCoy uSA on the bottom, and usually has small, randomly scattered, colored dots, which serve to appear as lights.
