I got this about 7 years ago for $55.00 at a hobby store that has qwit a bit of Marx trains.
I love the decal on the side of the signal. The button remote is very cool looking as well.
About this signal:
This is one of Marx's rarest and best designed accessories. This signal came with three track brass train trips. One was hooked up to the signal's track and the other two were hooked up to the track loop.
This accessory would alow you at a push of a button would let you stop the train or slow the train down or let the train go again or change direction of the train.
You can do all of this with this signal and this signal would alow two train operation on one X loop. It's very rare to find the three track train trips today, there for most of these signals can not be operational. Just displayed.
This signal cost $3.00 back is the 1930's.
