I purchased this machine from a family that had to put their mom in a nursing home. None of the family know anything about this machine. So I am trying to find out the brand and model # as I would like to know the year it was made. Looked under Ismacs and many other places to no avail. The only number I see on the whole machine is on the needle plate, that number is 2322359. It is so heavy, I believe it is made of cast iron as many were that I have read about. If anyone at all could help me find the year this machine was made and the model and brand I would be ever so grateful. The decals on the machine appear to be a dragon, or seahorse possibly? Thank you and I look forward to hearing what your thoughts are or information you've found for me!

Your Unique machine is a Davis Underfeed model H. There are no official dating records for Davis, but you may find something helpful here http://needlebar.org/nbwiki/index.php?title=Davis
