This tool is about 12" long and 4" wide with 2 screws that adjust the depth. Has a wooden handle with the rest being metal. I found this at a sale. The gentleman that passed was a lineman for Toledo Edison electrical company.

What you have is a ice cream scoop. This is to make Ice Cream Sandwich's. You would plunge into the ice cream tub and pull it out loaded with ice cream, squeeze the lever and push the ice cream unto the cookies. Probably from the 20's.

I think you have Jiffy Dispenser. If you look on the top of the box ( 2nd picture ) I can make out a pat. above that it probably says Jiffy Dispenser. It is in a little rough shape. I use to a have a Soda Fountain and collect Antique Scoops.

That's crazy, never would've guessed that! CW comes through again with the answers, with a little help from rocker-sd! :^)

Thank you all so much! Mystery solved. Turns out this family also owned a soda shop.
