Carolyn got this as a present in 1956. No clue who Carolyn is but that is written on the inside page. Probably from a grandmother who had another 17 grandchildren.
It is from Harpers and Brothers with illustrations by William Sharp. The illustrations are quite nice and the story telling is fair. It is a fair fairy tale book.
