      I wonder if that isn't just a gift note, or something like that?
      Very cute salt and pepper, looks like an overflowing root beer float, or chocolate dipped ice cream! :^) Wish I could help with identifying it, but sorry! :^(

      it looks like someone's note - info about the piece - written in pencil which i smudged when i cleaned it. oops!

      Just looking at the base and was curious due to the color, does the base feel like it might have been flocked at some point? Kind of a velvety feel? Typically the flocking gets worn off almost entirely over time, particularly on pieces that are functional. If you feel remnants, look at Cemar Pottery
