I don't know why, but my computer seems to hate this cute cookie jar. It refuses to edit the photos properly, to the point of my trying to enhance details and it deciding to cut the head off with a crop instead, or turn the photo upside down. I don't get it, but I guess my computer hates baby Smokey.
Thrift store find. I don't usually spend $8 on a single item at a thrift store, but I had seen it the day before I purchased it and looked up the value online. E-Bay sold-listings show it selling at $45!
My friend Andrew seems to think it is possessed.

I'm guessing these were produced to satiate public desire for Smokey Bear paraphernalia. Smokey was a bear cub who was rescued after a forest fire decades ago. Due to burns, he was put into a zoo where he became so popular that he was given his own ZIP-code (during the early days of ZIPs) due to the volume of letters people kept sending him!!!
