I was given this ring as a present, unfortunately it has some damage. The damage is noticeable in as much as one side as three stems with berries attached, the other side as one. I don't think there is anything I can do to repair it as the pearl would probably be damaged. The pearl as a wonderful lustre and colour, I have done the tooth test and it is gritty. It is a pretty ring and as a lot of character.
Many thanks for looking
That's really beautiful and honestly, I wouldn't have noticed had you not said anything. But then again, I know how it feels if it were mine. Hopefully you can have the piece added. I love it!
Love your ring! The damage is barely noticeable, but perhaps your skillful friend can remove the mabé pearl and attempt a repair?
Just beautiful Jean......and I did not notice the damage either!!!
Hi nutsabotas, yes I'm a lover of pearls and this I think is unusual for Bernard Instone. I can't really remember seeing anything he's made with pearls. Thanks for passing by and leaving your lovely comment.
Hi shareurpassion, believe me every time I look at it, it sticks out like a sore finger lol. I suppose if it wasn't pointed out you probably wouldn't notice. Thanks for your comment I really appreciate it.
Hi kyra, to be honest I don't think he would like to touch it, he doesn't like taking and replacing stones, more so pearls. He should be coming to Spain soon I'll ask him and see what he says, no harm in asking, I'll let you know the out come. Thanks for the comment it's much appreciated.
Hi Judy, lol I must be the only one who can see it, the added advantage for me is I know it's there. One thing is for sure it's certainly not a fake and it's had a life, if only it could talk and tell us its secrets. Thanks for the visit and comment.
Many thanks
