      I never had to use one , but I have seen plenty of them over the years . My grandfather had a few of them when they were on the Farm .

      I thought you might want the legal name. This is a show lead noise ring which is also called bulldogs. My son has shown livestock for ten years. This item is used on steers, bulls, and cows. This is used to keep them under control while you are working with your animal or showing it in a livestock show. Your mystery is now solved.
