My sister is a genius. We both went on a WI course on Georgian Cups a year or 2 ago, and I started collecting antique cups and saucers, so when she saw these at a coffee morning stall the other day, she bought it thinking she could give it to me for my Birthday present. It turns out it is a very early Transfer ware tea bowl and saucer, probably from the 1770's. The pattern is called Mother and Child and Man fishing. It's interesting that the bowl is marked with a W, which was a mark deriving from Dr Wall, one of the owners, and the saucer is marked with the Worcester Crescent.
