    These were two chairs in my mothers home. She said she inherited them from her father who was a furniture upholsterer. He was a furniture builder, upholsterer and owned a business in Wisconsin. He came over from Denmark and according to my mother brought several pieces with him to put in his shop. I have no idea as to their value or age. They have been reupholstered several years ago.

      Rather plain for antique chairs, no great value, also the design elements are rather mixed so there is no predominant style. They would have been great to show off your grandfather's great work in his shop.
