    Now we just await the pies and silverware.

    The pie-carrier is made of rolled and waxed cardboard. Interesting material to make it out of (literally, everything except what is metal. Even the handles and top).

    Also, some uranium glass plates and vintage local pop, plus a 1950s coin bank that looks like even more pop!

    The basket and plates were recent thrift-store finds, so I got a little creative.

      Looks like a Redmon picnic basket. I need to feed the cats and then I will figure out the glass pattern. Quick guess is Florentine.

      Sadly everyone's so far away, otherwise I'd invite you all to bring a meal for a mass Club C.W. picnic. Albeit I would run out of plates quite quickly and would have to have Fort Apache bring his set. LOL.

      I've had it for a while. Most of them, if I remember, are marked L.A.
