I picked up this picture at an estate sale to give to my sister. I'm not sure who this is a picture of. It could be Mary Our Lady of Sorrows. She doesn't look like any picture we have seen of Mary. I'm wondering if maybe it was painted in another country. Also, it sort of looks like it is painted on silk. It has a signature marking on it in gold paint. The marking could be a stamp.
It was framed in OKC in 1961.
Looks like the Immaculate Heart of Mary to me.
That is correct, common for the Catholic church there are many of these prints around.

I am curieus who made this.
I think it has an Asian feel. The Mater Dolorosa is sometimes portrayed with seven daggers piercing her heart based on the prophecy of Simeon and sometimes with one dagger.
