Found this today at a thrift shop. I'm sure it's fake but any idea how to tell? It's missing it's lid.

Not that it matters that much, still a nice find. But if you look for clues I would say that I've only seen a double line round the text on the really huge jars. Yours seem to be fairly moderate in size, and those usually have a single line round the label. The double lines at "1 o'clock" over the word food seem a bit deliberately broken without any wear. Having said that, that's only if you try to find anomalies.

Thanks for the clues OlofZ! It's about 10 inches high, but I have no idea what the other sizes are. Probably moderate, as you said. And I think you are correct about the lines not being worn away naturally, didn't think to look at that! Like you said, an awesome thrift fund even if it is fake, I absolutely love the look of it. Thanks for the help :)
