All I know is that an older lady gave it to my mama for me when she was pregnant. I am now 35. Its face and hands are porcelain. I just wanna know more about it. Thanks so much!

This doll was made in a doll making class which they have been doing since the 50's . But most were done in the 1980's . The painting is big clue and I believe if doll had been painted correct she may be a reproduction of a Bye Lo doll or a Dream Baby .Hard to tell because of the painting , Look at back of neck and see if it has any markings and that someone signed her . So you have a doll that was made from a blank mold sold to a person who painted it and the ceramic studio/class fired the porcelain for you . they supplied body parts and patterns to make bodies and clothes ,

Nobody sold it that I know of. Someone gave it to my mama when she was pregnant with me.

The doll was not a manufactured doll, She was made by maybe a friend of your Mother ?

I am sure it is is not a factory made doll. A regular person painted the blank mold of head . That is all you will ever know about doll unless Your Mother's friend had told her who made it when she gave it to her . I would guess it was your Mom's friend
