Another stunning find from the crockery skip!!
I really don't have a clue when .where or who made this vase but it's very well made & very heavy for its size !!
It's 4 1/4"h x 3 1/2"w . It's brown speckly inside which is cased with a green marbley & very dark brown /black stripes outside..
I've been searching the Web all afternoon but haven't come up with a maker yet , ..
Any info is very welcome .
Hope you all like it .. sd

I've not seen one before but the black lines are very distinctive and very similar to the one in your link! Sd

Pretty piece of glass, but the main color of this piece, combined with the very rough ground finish of the rim of the neck would indicate that this piece is most likely Chinese/Asian in origins.

Thankyou welzebub I never would've thought Asian !!
I'll try & find something on the web ..
Maybe my first piece of Asian glass !!
Thanks for your love ..sd
Czechglass.
I've been looking & there are similar ones but none the same yet !! Sd
I think inky may know !!
Cheers czechglass !! :-)
Sometimes the glass tells you everything you need to know without a supporting "link". This one clearly says "not Czech". One does not always need a "link" to something to make a reasonable determination.
Thanks welzebub..
I know what you mean ..
I know a little about lots & lots about little I'm afraid ..
No problem. My pleasure.
You want to think it is Czech Lisa.... be my guest. My initial comment #8, reflected the main things that I felt pointed to Asian/Chinese.
You just can't leave it alone can you Lisa? SMDH
You were here "first". ROTFLMFAO.
I disagree with you, likely because I have about 20 years more experience with the subject than you do, and do not think that there is much of a chance at all that this is Czech.
Thanks Manikin
