I gotta this chair for keepsake. Don't know what type of year it was made but it has old springs and trine strings and straps like crocker sack material. Can anybody share some information on this chair?
I want to get it reupholstered!!!!

Probably nobody. There were many hundreds of makers making these chairs alone in Canada let alone in the states. They made them until the 80's mainly, although there are still companies many making them today. Of all those makers less than 97% closed leaving no records at all. If you know around where this chair came from you can check your local history room in your city's library to check with any material from local makers. In Canada there were hundreds of companies in one province alone.

Phildmorris_whats the name of the chair?

It would just be called a victorian style armchair. The uphostery would have been stellar when new.
