There seems to be enough evidence that I can safely attribute these to Franz Welz Klostergrab production. The vase on the left stands a bit over 7 1/4" (18.5 cm) tall and has a somewhat uncommon decor and shape (from what I have seen). The vase on the right stands 6 7/8" (17.5 cm) tall. Its "Harlequin Honeycomb" decor can also be tied to Welz products - I would add that the base on this piece is slightly different than the base usually seen with this shape. Neither piece is marked.
Lovely vases, lovely presentation too. I'd agree that the foot on the 'Harlequin Honeycomb' example is less usual, but the foot does come in quite a large number of variations. Plenty to go at :)
Thanks Peggy - I couldn't have done it without the posts you and welzebub have provided before me.
