Purchased in an Antique Show in West Palm Beach Florida. I have not been able to identify the makers mark :( If anyone has an idea I would be grateful. The stones are real rubies and emeralds.
I find the 'station' details on the chain very attractive adding interest.
The design is reminiscent of a Norwegian solje brooch.
The mark looks to me like a large letter A with a G and possibly an M on top.

Can't read the mark properly in the photo - it's not defined enough to see it. Is this the proper color seen in the photos?

That is pretty much the color, although I made is a little bit lighter to see the color of the stones. I'll try to get a better pic of the mark.

The design is called festoon. What kind of clasp is on the necklace?

Looks like 800 rather than 830. I have no idea what the other mark is supposed to be.

I love this! It reminds me of a Norwegian brooch that I have and the signature/makers looks similar but I need to research it. I had assumed that it was by Marius Hammer - I will add a photo if I can. Mine is 830 silver gilt with enamel and no stones.

Efesgirl the clasp is a simple round bolt clasp

Lizzybizzy that would be nice. I will take a look at Marius Hammer marks!

I don't think I can add a picture but there are a couple of photos on my profile page including the maker's mark. It isn't very clear though. Yours looks a lot more delicate/intricately made. Are there any more marks on the bolt ring?

Hello, lovely necklace! I collect jewelry and live in scandinavia. I am not an expert but because of my location I see a lot of scandinavian vintage and antique jewelry. I'm quite sure this is not norweigan. This necklace shouts outs it's origin in both style and mark. I belive this is a nice chinese necklace. Very nice indeed.
