My Waterbury Mantle Clock

I was given this clock back in the 1980's by a neighbor who told me it most likely had belonged to one of my ancestors. When I acquired the clock it was not running, an uncle of mine was an amateur clock repairman and got it running. It ran for probably 20 years then stopped. I found a gentleman in my county in southern Virginia who repaired clocks and I got him to rebuild the works in 2016, now it runs perfectly again. It is an 8 day clock, has a beautiful walnut case and the face of the clock is in perfect condition including the silver ring around the face. He told me it probably originally had more ornamentation. I love my mantle clock, it is a treasure to me.
