    Wooden Clock Case
Now my Buddha has a Temple

Over time I have been looking for a stand for this Buddha with no luck.
While visiting Greg he had this clock case which came exactly as you see it and I love the look.....BUT>>>> I want to add something to the background behind the Buddha. NO MIRROR!!
Looks like someone used Chalk Paint on it which I'm happy with.

    I wound love some opinions/suggestions.

He fits perfect and will hang on the wall in the "Old Ladies Sitting Room"

Should I paint the back? If so what color?
    maybe use Asian textile/Fabric?
    Maybe Tile the background?

    looking forward to some opinions/ideas

Well I'm going for Gold leaf for the back ground.

A black satin fabric and a small led light shinning down on him.

I also thought of torching the wood which will turn it black and give a crackle effect.
Oh you know this girl is going to have a light in there....have extra ones on hand all the time for such.
Thank you for your suggestion and a great one it is.

It's stunning! I would leave it as it is because it's got so much texture and complements your buddha so perfectly, but that's just me :-))

Pure Genius to use this case as a temple, it now has twice the power to captivate !

Thank you for the lovely comment.
Just by pure luck did he get his Temple.
Every now and then "Greg" will send me photo's of some items he thinks I may like, mostly glass and pottery. But one day he sent a photo of the clock case along with other items. I said to myself "why would he send me a photo of a clock case" ...."what would I do with that thing".
When I got to his house and seen the case I knew he would fit perfectly in it. Strange how things just come together sometimes. Guess it was meant to be ;)
