Unmarked silver? Tea caddy/biscuit tin unsure of time period

My grandmother gave this to me and I used it to store my makeup for years. I am unsure of its history. It has great little details and isnt perfect. It has no lock(like I've seen on other tea caddies) and no makers mark.
