Hard to get a really good photo of my original real photo postcard(International Post)--from France ( 1920s)Framed and unframed. I am really fond of it--Imagine getting 20 "Little People" together for Chaffer's act
.Chaffer is the tall master of ceremonies and owner /producer of this unique act. I don't know how many cards are available , as originals sold where they appeared--but I own one. This is in the "circus" category--I hate to say "freaks". Enlarge the photos.

I was wondering g the same thing This group was in France in the 1920s and most look really young
So it is possible they were hired as group for Wizard of Oz. After all they were experienced performers. Good thought.

The man looks exceptionally tall & his name is FRED ROPER--Might he be a "giant" I assume so!!He played a giant waiter in a skit performed by the Wonder Midgets" in a Pathe movie. They also played the Palace Theater in London, and many other "legit" endeavors but maybe not in the USA.
