Well, I guess my paperweight collecting is not over yet. I acquired this beauty today. The lady said she may have some more she might sell. I hope so! Anyway, it is not marked but is in really good shape. Hope you enjoy.
Very pretty and looks very Good. Not sure of the maker but Super piece !!!
Thank you-the lady said she has a couple more for sale-anxious to see what they look like.
still loving this.....I myself am thinking Murano, but I go all crossed-eyed looking at these and by NO means do I know alot about them as it is always a learning game!!
...But If you want to get a possible better ID, contact my Friend " ALAN THORTON" ( in the UK ) as he KNOWS paperweights!!! He knows the canes of alot of them used. Just tell him I sent you over there. I am sure he can help you more than me. I have to turn to him to for help too - plus we are glass members - and he is just a wonderful person with his knowledge. I have also been a contributor to his page for a few years. Give him a shout...

Antiquerose-thanks so much. I just sent an email, and if not mistaken I may have contacted him a few years ago about one. Anyway, will see what he says. Thanks:)
Antiquerose-he responded that it was indeed Murano and was mid-20th century.
Well beat me to it, as I was going to tell you it's Murano. Lovely paperweight! :)
Thanks Katherine :)
@Mrstyndall - Thank you, I was 99.9 % sure it was Murano -- but I was also hoping that he might have had an idea on the Murano Furnance Maker.
Sometimes a definate ( Murano ) maker might be hard to pin-point, and Lord knows that I do not know everything ( or anything at times ). You got a Super one there. Good for you!! I am happy for ya!!
I would have grabbed it too !!!!
