This fairy lamp is ribbed, white glass with an outer layer of peachy pink and the base sits on five, applied feet in translucent, peachy pink.
The shade has two sections of glass, cut out of its rim, to allow air in to aid the burning of the candle. I imagine that the hole in the top of the shade is to allow heat to escape.
Image four shows the fairy lamp with two Welz vases from a later period. though the glass itself is of exactly the same construction.....white glass cased in an outer layer of peachy pink.
However the determining factor in this ID is the link below. It shows a fairy lamp in the same ribbed shape, though without the applied feet. It's in the Welz décor called 'Harlequin Honeycomb' and was posted here by IMASapp.

Great find! The notches cut in the bottom edge of the shade are to let air in. Without them, the candle would not burn very well. While very tempting, resist burning a modern candle in it. All too many are cracked from such practice. Thanks for posting!

The Tango vases in image four are more my thing, Karen. However I love that the fairy lamp is Welz, and would have wanted it in any décor.

I shall have no trouble keeping candles well away from the fairy lamps. I don't use any of my old glass for its original use, apart from larger shades because low energy bulbs emit very little heat.

Hi Peggy. Beautiful! It's nice to see the two parts definitely go together. I've seen some which could be marriages. They're lovely though & id love to own one, I want to see how they look lit :)
Hi Fran, I'm pleased you like it. The expert advice is that you should not put a modern tea light in them. I think it's because they give off more heat than old candles and might cause cracks.
