Why ruin the chair by painting it.
Yes I am keeping that in mind until I get some kind of information on it. Do you have any ideas on how old or was it home made? Thank you for your your
Feedback
Show us how it was put together? Any screws or dowels?
Seriously doubt it was homemade - what kind of carving is on the legs?
That's a beautiful chair! Agree with Phil, paint will absolutely ruin it. Research it thoroughly before turning grandkids loose on it. Look underneath to see how the seat is constructed. Please edit your post and add more photos.
Ok guys unique chair title :) just meant chair large enough to read to
Grandkids it's in the living room
Not real fond of the dark wood and it's scratched up quite abit
But something's are to be left alone
I only see glue for the wood area

Just knew when neighbor said these can just be tossed or burned
I said well yes I will take them knew enough to know at least old heavy
Too much detail on them not to have a story I thank you
All for interest in wandering history of this big
Unique chair

Old the chair can be
