I found these earrings recently, and even though blue is not my favorite colour, I couldn't resist the sparkle! The crystals are just lovely. I wish I could have captured the sparkle of the aurora borealis stones!
The earrings are unmarked bust based on the quality of the stones and the setting, I believe that they are possibly Austrian.
Thanks for looking:)
Many thanks, Efesgirl:)
Thanks a lot, Manikin:)
Really pretty earrings Freiheit!!
they are beautiful
Ms.CrystalShip, You might be on to something. I searched Schreiner Earrings and found this post. The setting looks very similar. What is interesting is that one earring is marked and the other isn't.

I will keep looking. Thanks so much for the tip:)
Thanks for your comments, TassieDevil and lentilka11:)
My inexpert opinion is that the prongs & the fluted edge settings indicate they are Schreiner. Those look like 'signatures' to me.
Thanks so much for your comment, Celine. I believe you might be correct. After Ms.CrystalShip mentioned Schreiner, I spent some time looking on line and found several pieces with what looks to me the same setting. Too bad they are not signed! I hate when I cannot know for sure what they are.
Love, love, love them............ I love them !!!!!
I am so glad you like them, antiquerose! Thanks so much:)
Update: I checked one of my books and found out that these earrings are by the Austrian maker Schoffel. It is hard to see but where the clip mechanism touches the back of the earrings, there is actually a crown. It is very hard to see and for that reason I didn't pay much attention to the mark. I thought it was just some lines.
The mystery still remains to a certain extent: The clips are not typical for Austrian clip-on earrings!
Could have been designed by Schoffel and made elsewhere? Very lovely. :)
