Help with identifying this large desk

This desk measures 37w x 32d x 31h. I have not been able to found out any information on this desk , nor one like it. It is usually deep and has rounded corners. The only marking is on the bottom of one of the drawers that says "Park 1 3 22 70". It also has a drawer locking mechanism that is made from 3 wooden post in behind the drawers and what I believe to be a barrel key to lock the top drawer. Not sure who made it, when made or for what purpose. In my imagination I see this desk used in a telegraph office or train station. If you could shed some light on this desk it would be greatly appreciated. If you need more information just let me know. Thanks in advance. Dennis
