Hi can anyone tell me about this beautifull tea, set i inheritead 7 yrs ago from my gran, she sadly past away 7 yrs ago at 95 yrs young, I know she had it at least 50 yrs, and all I know is she inheritead it from her aunt . Before then i dont know . I have been searching this
for the past 5 yrs . . It has "Alfred meakin" fine bone china , Staffordshire . "Empress" on it . no ltd no numbers so i think and been told it was before LTD began .i know all about the meakins. This is in emaculate condition still. I don't think it has ever been used . when my granmare had it , it was always kept in a lockt cabinet. I don't think she would have got it out if the Queen turned up for tea, it is a 21 piece set . hope someone can tell me something about this I would be very grateful if anyone can..
