In good shape should be between 1900 and 1925. It has a rest on the back that has a design, not sure that is original. Wood is thin on sides not solid.

Is it old? Relative to what? If you are a younger person it is old. Although I think I may be older. It has also been refitted and someone used drywall screws which are totally out of place. Lets say it is vintage or an older piece. The value of it depends on the eye of the person looking at it.
