Manikin
(62 items)
I just had to repair manikin in knit suit and needed to photo her for my records so I thought I would share this little group of Sewing mannequins from 20 inch to 15 inch size . All came with patterns to learn to sew during WWII to help in war effort . These were all made by Latexture Products NYC and used Simplicity patterns . The difference in quality of 2 that are same is very noticeable . The one in Blue is lesser quality than the one in knit suit. The Lesser quality one is most often one found . The one in knit suit for instance has a separate thumb and much nicer matte finish . The one in pink gown is not common to find . These are not dolls but no category for teaching items
Thanks for stopping :-)
Thanks Thomas :-) although these are not dolls but mannequins . I do have a long history with dealing in dolls . Appreciate you stopping !

So nice to see you inky :-) Are you busy with new house ?
More the garden at the moment Mani...still have things to do in the house but with having not much of a summer we are trying to to stuff in the garden..we are at this moment waiting for cyclone Cook to hit us, landing later this afternoon ..if you Google cyclone Cook it will give you some idea..not looking forward to the damage in hour garden..:'-(
Oh no I hope it doesn't hit you inky :-( I imagine it can cause a lot of damage to your beautiful gardens . Be safe my friend xo
We will get it...it's just how bad..:-(

Oh no will you be safe ? what part of island are you on ?
The round bit on the left that sticks out on the Noth Island.. we have been told to expect at least 140k winds and to make sure obviously everything that can be picked up is put away...it's more the rain really, we have just got over from cyclone Debby..last fortnight, and that had whole towns under water..the soil hasn't had time to dry out as been raining too ever since...so will be far worse this time...
Smack ban in the middle of the N.I. I meant to put as well...
Gosh Inky.....please do whatever it takes to stay safe........take care and please do keep updating if possible.......
We will all pray for your safety and that your homes and glassware are safe too !
Keep us updated inky .
Thank you Mani..just to let you both know, we got off very lightly compared to a lot of other people...it changed direction and we just got some wind but not damaging and not as much rain as predicted..so all good...thank you both once again for your prayers and concern..oxoxo...:-)
That is great news for you and sad for others that got hit worse . Thanks for update inky xoxo
Thanks for letting us know Inky, that is good news......:-)

Love this collection. My fav is the pink one too.
Thank you Wandlessfairy . I guess she is winning hands down , my favorite is in knitted suit because she was a early model and beautiful matte finish and fine sculpting but the one in pink is rarer :-) Thank you for stopping
I'm laughing at myself because I couldn't figure out what you meant by separate thumb! haha I got it though. Could you please take a peek at my doll for me. Do you know anything about these...I suppose you do, of course. Thanks Ms Mani!
