Miss America Green Bread Plates Depression Glass

The Miss America pattern was made by Hocking Glass from 1935-1938. As is not unusual by Hocking Glass this is a striking pattern. Usually it is found in pink or clear but this one is green. The plate is about 6 3./4" across.
The pattern has been reproduced since the 197s so one should be careful when buying this pattern. This one has straw mark plus it looks very sharp. The diamond pattern on the original is a pyramid with the top cut off which this one has. The repro is the pyramid with a pointed top.
