Marx lithograph 897 : Prewar

My train was made in the 1940. This train is hard to find in good condition, this train is often rusted or the lithograph is in weathered condition.
In other words it's hard to find in this condition.
This train is one of Marx's best lithograph trains they made.

This 897 train came in :
(black color and white lithograph). - electric or windup
Army green with black and white lithograph. - electric or windup.

The 897 train was made from 1938-1952.

I got this train and original Pennsylvania tender, both made in 1940.
for $35.00 in running condition.

I had a hard time finding any 897 trains in great shape.
Ive seen three of theses trains locally but rust was a issue with all three.

I got this train and tender on Ebay for Just $35,oo.
I wasn't going to pass that deal up. It's one of my favorite train in my collection.
