This is a Japanese made Bulova clock. It is the only one I have seen made with a red lucite (bakelite) case. It is 9.5 inches tall, 8 inches wide and weighs about 5 pounds. It has a large 6 inch watch face with a synchronous second hand. It is powered by not 1, but 2 c cell batteries. The clock movement I believe was made by Meisei, another Japanese clock maker of the day. I think the clock dates to the 1960s when quartz battery movements were new but have no evidence. If anyone knows about the clock or maker I would like to know. Thank you.
