Most of these sorts of plates are pewter, with old time scenes in the center. Ugh. This heavy plate made for a nice change, with it's lovely patina. Rings clearly when "pinged". I didn't find any like items on Google Images. I'm guessing made during the first half of the 20th Century, but I have no idea how long it takes for brass to acquire such an even, dark patina. No marks at all.
Thanks for looking!
