First Watch pewter cigarette pack case. Stamped something 90. Was a gift in 1950 or 60. Better detail and workmanship than Jensen or spritzer, may have originated in Spain. Would love information.
Here is the marking photo. Thank you for the assistance.
My first and most logical question is, How did you establish the fact that this is pewter? Second question would be is it marked or signed in any way? Does a magnet stick to it?
Could be the poor background and reflection but I don't see pewter.
Pewter or sterling, has a jewelry stamp denoting silver actually. Do you recognize this item?
Magnet won't stick....
No sterling silver or pewter, 90 means silver plated.
This is a representation of the "Nachtwacht" (night watch) a famous painting of Rembrandt van Rijn.
Yes, correct on both, I know now. Any ideas on the manufacturer.
Can you make a picture of the marks?
Of course
How can I add a photo
punch up your picture and look for edit to the left
Thank you ????
