I was told this was Polish, though no further details were known by its previous owner.

It measures 2 1/2 inches long, reading Mennica Pa?stwowa on the screwback.

I've tried googling all kinds of keywords, but cannot seem to find reference to this specific design.

I am very curious to see if anyone can identify it.

After posting around on some Polish message boards, someone was able to identify this as a tank operator's pin from the Armored Division of the Polish Military in 1956. Three others were made, a 1, 2, and M, for the different operators and the mechanics.
