Come to Fantasy Island and for a price you can live the fantasy you choose. This is what was offered on this American television series that originally aired on the American Broadcasting Company network from 1977 to 1984. The series was created by Gene Levitt. ( Wiki )
Before it became a television series, Fantasy Island was introduced to viewers in 1977 and 1978 through two made-for-television films. Airing from 1978 to 1984, the original series starred Ricardo Montalbán as Mr. Roarke, the enigmatic overseer of a mysterious island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean, where people from all walks of life could come and live out their fantasies. Roarke was known for his white suit and cultured demeanor, and was initially accompanied by an energetic sidekick, Tattoo (played by Hervé Villechaize). Tattoo would run up the main bell tower to ring the bell and shout "The plane! The plane!" to announce the arrival of a new set of guests at the beginning of each episode..
Usually Fantasy Island followed " The Love Boat " on Saturday evenings.

WOW--That is a great TV Memorabilia item!I have Cox cable and have the Bronze packet ( cheaper=st) I was delighted to find most of the best of the 1970s series with it! Murder Sge Wrote, Columbo,6 Million Dollar Man, (and Woman) Love Boat.--they just started "Monk" this week! Green Acres, Kolchak,Night Stalker, and almost all the good "Cowboy" shows!! Gunsmoke, Cheyanne, Rifleman, etc.
and programming into the 1950s Father Knows Best, What's My Line", etc etc( with less than desirable quality picture and with my eyes I need the best.
I hope they put on FANTASY ISLAND ( I loved it! ,)---Smallville,--Greatest American Hero, ( Wm. Katt & Robt Kulp), Surfside 6, etc. I am going to write a letter to somebody in "programs"!! I'd pay more !! Gladly.
This is great--Now I add FANTASY ISLAND--- TO THE WISH LIST!
And I'll bet we get some of these wanted shows. 3 Cheers For COX "Bronze Packet" for we seniors!
LOVE THAT PUZZLE--I will bet it is OBSCURE!!

I don't recall seeing the movies Roy only the series always laughed when tattoo was all excited saying the plane the plane. It had a short revival in 1998 Roarke and tattoo were new actors and in 2012. Sony released the complete season #1 in 2005 on DVD and 7 years later seasons 2 and 3 were released on DVD by Shout Factory.

I have not seen very much Fantasy Island items over the years Lois so I scooped the puzzle when I came across it. Sounds like you have a good assorted tv series package. Columbo was great, all the westerns, Kojack, Green acres etc.
