    I got this thing from a junk market....made of brass with a tripod over it...I think it is a lab stove.....marking of " SMD reg trademark over the tank " and " SMD o4iginal" over the burner.
    Can anybody help ?

      Try researching it as an antique smudge pot and I believe you will find what it is.
