I'm pretty confident that this is a Welz vase. The black on this is so dark I can't tell if it is dark amethyst or cobalt (looks just black to me). The spatter is dark orange/rust-brown, yellow, and red over an orange ground.
Stands 10.5" (26.5cm) tall.

Nice find.... I would tend to lean towards Welz also. I am curious, does it glow orange?
Hi Craig, yep it does glow orange - what you thinking?
It simply means the oranges were created using cadmium. You see that on some Welz production. That is all. I am always curious. Not all oranges glow that way.
