Kennedy and Johnson 1960

The Kennedy-Johnson car window stickers were popular in
1960. Both Nixon, and Kennedy were young and there was
a close fight for this election.

I remember going to the polls with my parents that year, for
the primary election, and when they were called to vote the
poll worker called for Mr. E. (Democrat), and Mrs. E. (Republican).
Everyone there laughed and probably imagined that there was a lot of
of arguing in our family over politics, but even though they
were of different parties, they generally were eye to eye
on politics!
