Antique Chinese Vase Stand

I picked this up at my favorite second-hand store yesterday - just because it was so unusual. i think it may have been a stand for a porcelain Buddha. It's made out of either hongmu or zitan, i think. it's very hard wood and in beautiful condition. i made two small repairs w/ some wood glue and waxed it.
