I found these two candleholders (the cranberry and the clear crystal one) almost a year ago. Both are missing two of the crystals (I broke one of them). I didn't think it would be so difficult to find replacements, otherwise I probably would have passed on getting them.

About an hour from my house is a very nice seasonal antique marked. It's in Aberfoyle, and one can find pretty much everything there! One of the vendors sells crystals for chandeliers and luster candleholders. I was sure to find the ones I need for my two pieces. I got my husband to help me and together with the samples, we went off to look for the replacement crystals. After looking at and comparing literally hundreds of them, we had to give up. Oh, well, this will give me an excuse to go there again this year when the new season starts.

    Thanks for looking:)

Thanks so much for your kind comment, MALKEY. Actually, I just cleaned up my living room because I was tired of all the dusting. So I kind of "parked" my collection in my daughter's old room until I come up with a better solution:)

That is a very lovely collection! Maybe someone here has an extra one. Why don't you put the size and shape up...I have lots of extra crystals, not sure if I have exactly the ones you need. That's an idea though, and it's just something I might do myself, remove the originals and wrap them together keeping them close to the candlestick so they don't get misplaced, but put matching crystals of easily found ones until you can find the one you are looking for. Just a thought. Beautiful display!

I just looked again and I don't recall even ever seeing any like the ones with the 'dots/thumbprints'. Really nice Freiheit.

Thanks so much for your comments, shareurpassion! I have the wrapped one example of each to have them ready when I go out. I actually like your suggestion about replacing all of the dangles with easily found ones!
My camera is out of charge, but I will post the pics of the missing ones soon.
The red one seems to be rather common. I think it is English. The one with the dots I have seen only once before. It was on e-bay, a perfect pair, and it sold for a nice amount:)

I used to haunt Aberfoyle every Sunday many years ago. When I had a car! I only went once last year when my son drove a friend and I there. Also used to go to Circle M too, I think that's what is called.

You have some beautiful glass pieces - I hope you do find what you need. It's been open for a while now, have you been back ?
