    I just picked this up today and can not find this pattern anywhere. I really can not even figure out exactly what it is. If anyone has any idea what this is, manufacturer, time period that would be amazing. The lid looks dirty but before I scrub it I just wanted to make sure its not part of the design. (it's pretty gross looking) Thanks for any help!

      What you want to scrub off may have been some kind of golden guilding at one point.

      What you have is a powder box from a victorian vanity set. Most date between 1880-1920. There would have been a flower motif as well as gold guilding .
