I found this old Creek Chub Pikie in some old fishing stuff that I had tucked away, wondered if it has value to a collector. It is about 8 inches long from head to tail, without the metal bracket on the front. It shows great detail
as far its assembly. I have had it for probably about 10 years, I am guessing. Thanks for any input.
There is a good website called antiquelures.com that has a lot info. It is the oldest and largest informational website dedicated to antique fishing tackle. I would start there for a search of your info. Good Luck!
Snookman: I am not a collector or a expert in the field of lures but would think judging by the size that your lure was used in fishing for Muskies or large Pike.
I think this lure is a creek chub lure , used for salt water fishing.
this is a creek chub pikie in black scale color.. it was used for musky and saltwater fishing..value to a collector is in the $20 range
