I was given this chair that was a wedding gift for a couple married over forty years ago. It was stock from an antique shop so I know it's an antique but apart from that I don't know anything else about it.
The seat has been replaced by levather (I presume it would of been upholstered) but the headrest is original burgundy velvet, although the tassles that would of been there originally have worn away with time.
It folds up completely and has adjustable back with a brass rachet system under each arm. It has two holes on the left arm where something was attached at some stage but what that was I don't know.
I would dearly love to find out more about my chair so if anyone knows anything please let me know.

Sorry about orientation of photos. They were right way up when I took them but loading them seems to have altered their orientation....not sure how to change this.
