This is a well known Kralik shape sometimes called 'pumpkin'. The shape was made in various sizes and in both Art Nouveau décors and Art Deco décors.
The décor of this particular example is called 'Crackle'. The iridescence has been very hard to capture, but in reality it has lovely golden glints in the 'cracks'.
Diameter 13 cm./5 inches
I have always like this shape - and your photos are great. They really show off the texture and color!
Ken, I'm glad you like this. It's taken me ages to find an example of this décor. :)
Michelle. I too like this shape.
As to the photographs, at the moment I'm using a temporary camera. It's slower on some things but it has more functions and hopefully it'll help me to make a good choice if my camera cannot be repaired.
Well, good luck with repairing your camera, Peggy. I hate changing to new ones, as there is always such a learning curve on them for me! :)
Gorgeous piece peggy you must be overjoyed !!!!!!!!
