I'd like to know more about this solid oak rocker. The lady who sold it to me at a yard sale thought it was Limbert style. Does anyone know if it is a good maker and is it worth anything?

      Early Heywood-Wakefield rocker - nice.

Thank you so much, Artfoot, but I am curious as to how sure you are of the manufacturer? I find no images on the net of a rocker by Heywood Wakefield with those bowed arms. Would you be willing to guess at the age of this chair?

I'll try to dig up a picture - couldn't find it quickly. Most of this style oak furniture that Heywood-Wakefield made was done during the 1920s.
