This pendant was found in the pocket of my grandmother's jewelry box but I can't tell if the coin is real. It's currently encased so the back of the coin isn't visible.
- Is there an easy way to tell authenticity by looking at the face (pictured)? - If real, what would the coin be valued at?
These are quite easy to research because Kellogg's made all kinds of replica pendants, money clips etc. Without seeing the back one never knows. You can buy a precious metal test kit on Amazon for about $12.
No, it's not a real coin.
